Daniel Patrick hat die letzten 2 Jahre damit verbracht, über 600 Shows im ganzen Land zu spielen. Seine energiegeladene Bühnenpräsenz, sein starker Gesang und sein rasantes Mandolinenspiel haben dafür gesorgt, dass er sehr gefragt ist. Er hat 2 EPs veröffentlicht (eine solo, eine mit Sky Blue Sky), spielte auf dem legendären Telluride Bluegrass Festival und hat fast 200 "Lick of the Day"-Videos auf Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, The Mandolin Cafe und Reddit gepostet, die zusammen über 9.000 Mal pro Monat aufgerufen werden. Derzeit tritt er sowohl im Duo als auch im Trio auf und hat wöchentliche Auftritte an drei beliebten Orten in Charleston. Man hat ihn wegen seiner Energie und seines Spiels mit Sam Bush und wegen seines Gesangs mit John Cowan verglichen. Die Shows beinhalten nicht nur Bluegrass-Musik, sondern Musik von Bill Monroe und Doc Watson bis hin zu Journey und Led Zeppelin.

Here's a word from Daniel about the piece in this video, "This is an original tune I wrote called 'The Shot Glass and the Sugar Cube.' I had been playing around with tuning the E strings down to D. I came up with the A section and then thought it might be cool to tune the G strings down to F# to give it an 'open D' feel....if you look close you can see my dog Blue sneak onto his studio chair behind my right arm near the end of the song."

The Brewery Sessions episode #1! Combining my two loves (mandolins and beer), I took my band The Ol' 55s to one of my favorite local breweries Cooper River in Charleston SC. Their Strong Ale is one of my all time favorite beers! Go check them out if you find yourself in Charleston.

This episode of The Brewery Sessions was filmed at The Edmund's Oast Brewery located in the Brewery District of Charleston. They have an incredible vibe to go along with an incredible selection of beer and food! They treated us incredibly well and we look forward to heading back soon for a live performance or two!
