In der polnischen Nationalbibliothek findet man inzwischen eine große Anzahl von Werken für die Mandoline. Unter anderem habe ich die Schule für Mandoline von Alfred Plohn gefunden und so bearbeitet dass die Schule als gut druckbares PDF vorliegt.

Die Schule enthält vor allem im zweiten Teil viele klassische Etüden und Spielstücke von bekannten Komponisten wie Leopold Mozart, W. A. Mozart, Corelli, Rossini, Weber, Lecocq, Verdi, Bizet, Schumann usw.

Sie ist deshalb gut geeignet als Ergänzung für den Unterricht.

The mandolin method by Alfred Plohn (copyright 1911) is available in the polish national library. This method contains many classical compositions and studies by Verdi, Rossini, Bizet, Leopold Mozart, W. A. Mozart, Schumann, Lecocq, and others and is very useful for to learn some important classical compositions on the mandolin. I have prepared a black&white pdf from the original scans which is good readable and printable.
